Meet The Horses

"Sammy"

Sammy is an 11 year old 16.1hh registered Thoroughbred Gelding. He is a dark bay. Sammy is the newest addition to K K Ranch and will have a job with our lesson program! He is very well trained, gentle and polite. We plan on adding Sammy to our show team and hope to have him competing with students in English Pleasure, and Equitation classes for the 2009 - 2010 Show season. Come meet Sammy!

"Tater"

Tater is a 12 year old 15.3hh Quarter Horse Gelding. He is Bay colored and registered with the "American Quarter Horse Association" (AQHA). Tater is part of our lesson program and works with students of all riding experience ages 4 to 67! Tater competes successfully and is always in the ribbons! He is schooling Hunters, on the flat and over fences, English Pleasure, and Equitation classes for the 2009 - 2010 Show season. Come meet Tater!

"Sunny"

Sunny is a 20 year old 16.2hh Thoroughbred gelding. He is a retired race horse who has found a loving home with the Wieser family at K K Ranch. He is now apart of our lesson program and works with riders of all ages and experience. Sunny competes successfully and is schooling Hunters, on the flat and over fences, English Pleasure, and Equitation classes for the 2009 - 2010 Show season. Sunny is always in the ribbons! "Stratosphere"

"Stratus"

Stratus is a 10 year old Thoroughbred gelding that stands at about 17hh. He is also a "retired" racehorse who found a loving home with the Wieser family. Stratus is being trained in basic Dressage and Hunters and is a very willing horse with plenty of athleticism! He is a beautiful mover, a pleasure to work with and we plan on competing with him in the 2010-2011 show season! Come meet Stratus!

"Second Chance"

"Chance"

Chance was born in the late year of 2007 and is of breed we are unsure of. He stands 15.1hh at about a year and a half old and is showing very fancy movement! He is being trained on the ground by our Trainer and is scheduled to be broken to ride in December of 2010 or when he is physically mature. Chance was a wild horse until the Wieser family rescued him and gave him a home at K K Ranch when he was thought to be around 3 months old. We have big plans for chance! Come meet Chance!

"Wild at Heart"

"Willy"

Willy is a 6 year old 16hh Dutch Warmblood Gelding. He is dark bay colored, often considered black, and registered with the KWPN (Royal Dutch Sport Horse). He is a part of our show team and spend a lot of time successfully competing with Melissa A. Landwersiek and is always in the ribbons! He is schooling Hunters, on the flat and over 3'6 fences, English Pleasure, and Equitation classes for the 2009 - 2010 Show season. Come meet Willy!

"Casper"

Casper is a 7 year old APHA (American Paint Horse Association) Paint gelding. He stands at 16.3hh, is of rare coloring know as "Medicine Hat" and has two matching blue eyes! Casper is being trained by our Trainer and is schooling Hunters, on the flat and over fences, English Pleasure, Dressage and Equitation classes for the 2009 - 2010 Show season. Casper is a Show Stopper and will leave the spectators wanting more. Come Meet Casper!

"My LiL Pistol"

"Pumpkin"

Pumpkin is a 14.3hh 23 year old champion bred Arabian Brood Mare. She has lived most of her life at K K Ranch, and will always be apart of K K Ranch no matter where she is. She is great with children and very sweet but has not been asked to work much more than "Pony Rides". We love Pumpkin!
